England Rugby Team
It was in the year of 1999 that Yehuda Shinar and Clive Woodward, former manager, and head coach of the England rugby team became acquainted for the first time.
Clive was quick to grasp the unique potential of the Winning method and decided to adopt the concept and its principles (the winning model) as a strategic tool for his team's defensive, offensive, training and general conduct. From that point on, the team has stabilized on a path of continuous successes, including the Grand Slam in the Six Nations Tournament in 2003 and the record world cup winner in 2003.
This accomplishment of the team is considered to be England's greatest sport achievement of all time.(Remove the s) This led to Clive Woodward receiving his Knighthood from Her Majesty the Queen of England and so became Sir Clive Woodward.
Sir Clive Woodward subsequently released his book “WINNING” and dedicated an entire chapter to his work with Yehuda Shinar and his Winning Methodology (what makes a winner). The title of chapter being “Answers in Israel”.
"It isn't necessarily the best team or the team with the best players that wins the game, but the team that can T-CUP. It's what's between the ear's that counts"... ( the winning intelligence)
(Sir Clive Woodward)
Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel
In the 2003-2004 football season, the management of Maccabi Tel Aviv football club approached Yehuda in request to help it reach the champion's league. Until then, Israel's largest football club failed to realize this goal of winning in sport. In addition, the team's placement in the table was not very promising to begin with.
The partnership between Yehuda and Nir Klinger, the team's coach, a former first class player in his own right, was excellent from the beginning.(high performence team)
The team ended the season in second place with a result that secured its participation in the qualifying rounds of the champion's league. Maccabi for the first time in their history went on to qualify for the group stages of the Champion's League.
